Whole wheat flour/atta
1 cup
Warm water/milk
As required
Salt
For taste
Ghee/oil
As required

How to make flat bread:
  • Knead the dough using atta, water/milk and salt.
  • Keep it for half an hour. Divide it into equal size and shape it into balls.
  • Dust the ball in atta and flat it using chapatti roller.
  • Grease the half portion with oil/ghee and fold it as a semi-circle. Again grease the quarter portion and fold into quarter circle. (this increase the softness)
  • Again flat it into thin roti after dusting.
  • Now in the hot dosa tawa wipe oil/ghee on both side of roti and cook till it become brown here and there.
  • Can serve with chana masala or paneer butter masasla.

Note:
  • Warm water is to give softness.
  • If possible you can beat the kneaded dough using chapathi roller before keeping it for half an hour.
  • Don’t allow the dough to dry. After flating it keep it one above the other.
