Green chutney/Mint chutney(thogayal)

Ingredients:
Mint leaves
1 cup
Grated coconut
½ cup
Roasted gram/pottukadalai
1 table spoon
Red chili
4(or more)
Turmeric
A pinch
Tamarind paste
½ table spoon
Salt
As required
Oil
1 table spoon
Mustard seed
¼ tea soppn
Urad dhal
¼ tea spoon

How to prepare mint chutney
  • Wash the mint leaves and roast it.
  • Grind all the above ingredients to paste. (except oil, mustard and urad dhal)
  • Temper the mustard seed and urad dhal in oil and add with the paste.
