Ingredients:
Paneer
½ cup
Tomato(chopped)

Onion(chopped)
2
Ginger-garlic paste
1 table spoon
Cashew nut paste
2 table spoon
Coriander powder
1 table spoon
Chilli powder
As required
Turmeric powder(optional)
¼ tea spoon
Cloves
2
Cinnamon
1 inch
Cardamom
1
Salt
As required
Garam masala powder
1 tea spoon
Coriander leaves (chopped)
few
Kasuri methi/dry fenugreek leaves
½ table spoon
Fresh cream/milk
¼ cup
Ghee
4 table spoon
Butter
2 table spoon

How to prepare paneer butter masala:
  • In a pan sauté the onion, ginger-garlic paste, tomato, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder and garam masala powder in the ghee.
  • Allow it to cool and grind it to paste.
  • Fry the paneer in 2-3 table spoon of ghee till light brown.
  • Now it the butter add the cinnamon, cloves, cardamom. Now add the paste fry it for 3-4 minutes and add the paneer.
  • Then add ½ cup of water(or more), salt, cashew nut paste with this and allow it to boil.
  • At last add coriander leaves, kasoori methi and milk/fresh cream,.
  • Serve this with chapathi, fried rice etc.
