Palkova |
Ingredients:
Milk
|
1 litre
|
Sugar
|
4 tbsp
|
Ghee
|
1 tbsp
|
Cardamom powder(optional)
|
¼ tsp
|
How to prepare Palkova:
- In a pan boil the milk in low or medium flame. I used non-stick pan.
- Keep stirring the milk occasionally by removing the milk which sticks on the side and bottom of the pan.
- The milk will reduce to half and start to thicken. Now add sugar and keep stirring.
- Milk will start to get solid consistency. Add ghee along with cardamom powder and stir well.
- At one stage the palkova will start to leave the pan. Now is ready to serve.
Tips:
- If you feel the peda is too hard sprinkle warm milk and mix it.
- Use full fat milk for creamy texture and taste.
