Nenthiram pazha halwa/ripe plantain halwa
Nenthiram pazha halwa/ripe plantain halwa

Ingredients:
Ripe plantain/nenthiram pazham
2
Jaggery
1 cup
Ghee
¼ cup
Cardamom powder
¼ tea spoon
Cashew nut
few

How to make plantain jam:
  • Peel off the skin and grind the ripe plantain.
  • Dissolve the jaggery and filter it and allow boiling for 5 minutes.
  • Add the grinded plantain, ghee and stir it till starts to leave base of the pan.
  • Now add the fried cashew nut, cardamom powder and transfer it to a greased plate.
