How to do Sooji halwa:
- Roast the sooji in ghee till it become little brown and set aside.
- Dissolve the jaggery in ½ cup of water and filter it.
- Add milk with the filtered jaggery water when it starts to boil reduce the flame and add roasted sooji.
- When it becomes thick add the fried cashew nut, powdered cardamom, remaining ghee, food color.
- Transfer it to a tray and cut into pieces after it sets.
