Ingredients:
Carrot (Grated)

4-6 tbsp

Ghee

Almond

Cashewnuts

Crushed cardamom

How to make carrot payasam:
- Soak the almond in water and peel the skin.
- Sauté the cashews in ghee and keep aside
- Boil the milk till it become thick.
- Sauté the grated carrot in ghee till it become soft. Add ½ cup of boiled milk and close with lid, cook it for 10 minutes in slow flame.
- Allow it to cool and grind it along with soaked almond, add 1-2 tbsp of milk if required.
- Now mix the carrot paste with milk and mix well cook it for 5 minutes in low flame. Then add the sugar and cook it for 5 more minutes. Add the cardamom powder, cashew and stir it for 5 more minutes.
- Serve it warm or chilled.
