Sesame-jaggery laddu/sesame seed balls/ellu laddu/ellunda/ellu urundai

Sesame seed/ellu (white or black)
1 ½ cups
1 ½ cups
Ground nuts (optional)
4 table spoon

How to make ellu urundai:
  • Roast the sesame seeds till the raw smell disappears and you feel the nuts aroma. Now allow it to cool.
  • Also roast the ground nuts and grind it.
  • Grind the sesame seeds and ground nuts in mixy and add ghee with it.
  • Prepare the jaggery syrup by adding water with it. When it will become a single string syrup, pour the syrup with the sesame-ground nut mixture.
  • Grease your hands with ghee and squeeze it into laddu in heat enough to handle with your hands.
