Ingredients
Potato(boiled)

Coconut milk
1 cup
Onion(chopped)

Tomato(chopped)

Red chilli powder
As required
Salt
As required
Turmeric powder
¼ table spoon
Oil
4 table spoon
Mustard seed
½ tea spoon
Curry leaves
Few
Coriander leaves
Few

How to prepare masala gravy:
  • Peel the skin of the potato and boil it. Allow it to cool and smash it slightly.
  • Add the red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt along with the coconut milk.
  • Temper the mustard seed, curry leaves, coriander leaves in oil. Saute the onion and tomato.
  • Now add the coconut milk and potato. Allow it to boil till it becomes thick as gravy. The can be used as a side dish for pori, chappthi etc.

Tips:
  • If required you can also add the boiled peas while boiling the curry.
