Steam cooked sweet plantain/boiled sweet plantain-healthy food

It’s a healthy and tasty food for all age groups and loved by children very much. Taste will be yummy.
Ingredients:
Plantain/nenthiram pazham/etham pazham
1
Ghee (optional)
1 tea spoon
Sugar (optional)
1 tea spoon

How to make boiled plantain:
  • Wash the plantain which is ripe (but still stiff) with small black spots and scrub the skin well.

  • Cut both the end of the plantain and cut it into two or three halves and cook it in the steam using idli kadai/idli cooker in one or two plate.

  • If its ready it the inner part of the plantain will comes out slightly.

  • Allow it to cool and peel the skin. Now cut this into small round slices.
  • You can serve it as such or you can sprinkle the sugar and add ghee before serving.
