Tomato-egg rice- variety rice

Ingredients
Rice
½ cup
Tomato (sliced or chopped)
1 cup
Onion (chopped or sliced)
1 cup
Egg
2
Turmeric powder
½ tea spoon
Green chilli
1
Garam masala powder
½ tea spoon
Chilli powder
As required
Curry leaves
few
Oil/ghee
3 table spoon
Salt
As required

How to prepare Tomato-egg rice:
  • Cook the rice and allow it to cool.
  • In a pan add the ghee/oil and fry the onion till its colour changes. Now add the tomato, green chilli, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, curry leaves, salt. Fry this for 1 minute.
  • Now add the egg and roast it. The masala is ready. Add the rice with this and mix it.
